Description

A character from an original Final Fantasy-ish story I'm writing. He's the typical damsel-in-distress of the group. ^^; Hence the reason why the comment, "I'm not GIVEN a choice in such matters!" He's just always kidnapped. His name is Sapphire Tribal, and he's supposed to be the son of Zidane and Dagger (Garnet) from Final Fantasy IX. Hence the comment about my story being Final Fantasy-ish. There are SOME characters that are from Final Fantasy games (7,8, and 9) but they're minorminor people. Like mentioned but not important.

..man, I need a scanner.

Ooh, this is a much better capture than your previous marker one! *is proud*

I reiterate the need for a crop tool and proper lighting. Otherwise, I'm happy with the capture - it's quite an improvement!

To the actual drawing: The head is done well, everything is in proportion save for the lower jaw. The right side (my right, not his) looks a bit...fuller...than the left. The eyes look great, and the hair is relatively so. My suggestion again would be to do something about the lock of hair in the center of his forehead - perhaps reduce the amount of lines used to create it - because it is quite distracting. The anatomy begins to go a bit awry at the neck, though. For starters, the neck is too long, and it's of disproportionate width to his shoulders and chest. Perhaps by increasing his shoulder span (and thus expanding his chest) it would seem more correct. The hand has at least the semblance of one, though it looks rather demonic - is that the effect you intended?
